Sooner or later, I am going to organize a big event for League of Legends. I don't want to ask for your support as you already help us beginners quite a lot. The work you do is always appreciated but I still need a quite some support from you (excuse me for my horrible English grammar and spelling but please proceed).
At school we started a project which is supposed to be 'socially' (for charity) but we want to organize something that brings the League of Legends player within Holland and all over the world together. Our motto is: 'Take over the Phreaking world' (phreak is a famous League of Legends employee) and we really do want to take over the world with League of Legends. The locations we have in mind are:
- The Netherlands!
- Jaarbeurs (the location of ‘Margriet Winterfair’ which is quite Huge and expensive but our favourite), Utrecht
- Wolff cinema, Utrecht
- Pathe cinema, Utrecht
- Ziggodome, Amsterdam
- Amsterdam RAI, Amsterdam
If you agree to help us it will be easy to use the following idea.
The idea to 'Take over the Phreaking world' is having a tournament at Jaarbeurs Utrecht. Meanwhile people can watch it at Jaarbeurs, but also at the cinema's in Utrecht if the tickets are sold out plus there will be a stream available so people can watch the tournament at home. Those people can donate money to remove the ads and upgrade the quality of the stream. We also want to work together with Game Kings so League of Legends gets broadcasted on TV too. At the location 'Jaarbeurs Utrecht' there is a big theatre and a huge screen so people can spectate the games that are played.
Furthermore there is enough space to take a seat and play games with your friends. We want to let some higher tier players or employees from Riot Games to take lead over some workshops so people that don't play League of legends or aren't good in League of legends, get a chance to actually learn it. Meanwhile they are able to get to know other players. Also there will be some shops so people can buy League of Legends merchandise (with the focus on clothing). We also have connections with the brand ‘Black Bananas’ and we can ask them to make some good quality and fashionable clothing so people will actually wear it to whichever occasion. Our goal is: as soon as the whole event is over, all players have their friend list filled with nice players and a better community within the League of Legends (and of course take over the Phreaking world!!). There even is a lot more space at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht to create more side events for our fellow summoners (summoners are players of League of Legends). We really gave it a lot of thought and hope you guys see that this is a chance to take over the Phreaking world!
There are much more details for this event, but if we want to organize something this big, we first need a confirmation from you guys to go on. At the moment I am organizing a smaller League of Legends tournament also located in Utrecht. The reason I am organizing this is so I can practice for the real work. If you are interested in this idea I would love to receive a reply from you or a donation to set this event up. Furthermore I would like to thank you for your attention and I appreciate all the opportunities you already gave to us.
