Survey dewire-er

Dear Tweakers,

I had an assignment for my school subject English to invent a new product that would make your everday life a bit easier and more comfortable. When I was thinking of an invention, I noticed all my wires behind my desk (for example (micro-)USB, audio jack etc.) and I thought can't that be solved on a more simple way?

That's how I created the idea of the dewire-er, a device that you can connect with your (already existing) wires and that transforms your wired signal into a wireless signal! In this way, your wires can't be entangled anymore, cause you put a sender on the beginning of the wire and a receiver on the end of the wire. Just for the record, this won't be a real existing product, it's just an idea.

I'm very curious how people will react on my idea, so I made a survey, the link of the site is below the page. Would you be so kind to fill in the survey (only 5 little questions). So you made a box which connects tot all your wires so it can connect with a nother box connected tot wires. And they communicate trough wireless.

Wireless Communications needs power. Congratulations. You have just added 2 more wires to your "problem".

However with my box, all your wires are on a central place and not just somewhere around. And sure wireless communications needs power, but that amount is negligible in comparison to the annual use of electricity.
