iMovie geeft General error bij aanmaken nieuwe movie

Bij het aanmaken van een nieuwe movie in iMovie, krijg ik sinds kort de volgende foutmelding:

"The operation could not be completed. No other information is available about the problem"

Een zeer hulpvaardig antwoord dus.
Echter, het volgende vind ik terug in de log:

Ik heb uiteraard op Google gezocht, maar kan werkelijk niets vinden. De enige oplossing die ik gevonden had was een herinstallatie van mijn macbook. Ik heb overigens wel iMovie verwijderd en weer opnieuw geïnstalleerd, maar dat mocht niet baten.
Ik kan ook bijvoorbeeld niets vinden over de vraag of ik deze bestanden opnieuw zou kunnen installeren/downloaden ergens vandaan?
Heeft iemand een tip of richting waar ik kan zoeken voor een oplossing.

Zo te zien werkt iMovie prima maar is er iets fout met de plugin/module die de foto-bibliotheek wil laden. Gebruik je toevallig de Yosemite beta? Die maakt gebruik van de nieuwe photo's app en niet langer van iPhoto, ik zou het in die richting zoeken.

Als je niet de beta draait, dan is het mogelijk dat de foto-bibliotheek beschadigd, niet beschikbaar of iets dergelijks is.

Ai, dan gaat dat een probleem zijn inderdaad. Ik gebruik geen Yosemite Beta. ik begon zoiets al te vermoeden, want ik had gisteravond ook nog als test de hele plugin folder weggegooid, maar iMovie werkte nog steeds niet en bleef komen met dezelfde fout.

Kan het betekenen dat de hele foto library nu beschadigd is? Dat zou mooi balen zijn, want er staan veel fotos in en deze wordt dan natuurlijk met fout en al naar TimeMachine geschreven. Of moet ik dat zo niet zien?
Ik heb momenteel mijn hele Documenten-folder gekoppeld aan DropBox. Dan is het natuurlijk goed mogelijk dat hier iets mis gegaan is bij het syncen van de fotos.

OPGELOST:
Top, door jouw tip over beschadigde bestanden, heb ik mijn imovielibrary bestand weggegooid en opnieuw laten aanmaken door iMovie en nu werkt alles weer. Bedankt!!
