Heb je al op de mailinglists gezocht? Bug reports bekeken? Daar staat altijd wel waarom iets eruit wordt gegooid. Zoiets als RoM, Reason of Removal. Daar wordt bug report https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=781554 genoemd.
