Ik heb dit gepost op een Halflifeforum, daar komen ze er toch niet uit, misschien is hier iemand die het weet?
Well i've a very serious problem. (for 2 months now)
My view lags constantly.
The view shakes, flick flack, it's just not stable, tho ya only mention it when playing, especialy when ya need more CPU power in tenser games with more players. But even if i am allone in the game it shakes+lags a little.
(it's not about ping and fps here, ping is good (duh LAN = 0) and FPS are NEVER below 60, (80) )
The problem is always there, also with Q3 or whatever game. First i thought it whas fixed but now i noticed it again...and im sick of it.
I try many many things, and i tryed to solve it myself, but afther these two months of trying, i'll give up. I need help,....badly
Some info:
AMD Athlon 700
Asus K7M Motherboard
Geforce2 GTS
1X 64Mb PC100
2X 128Mb PC133
Harddisk: IBM Deskstar 7200rpm
Monitor: Cheap and brand unknown
Mouse: Razor boomslang.
Monster sound A3D (MX300)
Operation system: Problem with both Win98 / WinME, at this moment i have WinME.
Bios:
Superbypassmode: On
AGP: 1X / 2X; tryed both.(at this moment 1X)
AGP appenturesize: 64 (First only 256 worked else bluescreens in games, with Win98)
What i've tryed:
Everything with clean install, only operation system and HL.
Superbypassmode: on/off
agp: 1x/2x
appenturesize: all modes
Made vitueel memory in windows.
Tryed all display drivers (standard, detonator, etc)
Tryed ALL displaysettings like: 16bit/32bit color, vertsync, etc
A3d off, even tryed without the card in the PC.
What i think it could be:
Something with the mouse,
I read something about refresching from the boomslang arround the crosshair (don't know/understand nothing about that ) maybe this causses the lag / shaking.
Something with the monitor,
It's crapy, but i don't think that should be the problem, it can't let ya game lag can it? Sometimes when there are lots of people arround the lag REALY gets big, while others have no problem.
Something with the graphic card,
If it isn't evrything i tryed maybe i just have a bad GF.
