Afgelopen week 3 nieuwe schijven gekocht via Marktplaats. Alle schijven zijn nog in garantie.
Echter voordat ik hier mijn nieuwe RAID5 van ga maken wil ik ze wel eerst goed gecontroleerd hebben en als ze dus niet goed functioneren garantie claimen.
Nu heb ik het volgende gedaan:
- Firmware update (aanraden van seagate)
- Seatools (short test via DOS), long test 1 schijf en daarna loopt hij vast (door de tool en niet door de schijf -> vreselijk programma)
- Badblocks -> resultaat geen problemen
- smartcrl -t short -> Completed without error (voor alle 3)
- smartctl -t long -> Completed without error (voor alle 3)
