AndroidPIT stopt met App Center per 01-01-2015

Ik heb net een email ontvangen dat AndroidPIT stopt met de Appstore per 1 januari 2015.

Dear AndroidPIT user,

Due to changes to certain legal frameworks (VAT changes from 01.01.2015 "for services that have been electronically supplied to private parties"), we are unfortunately being forced to close our AndroidPIT.com App Center on 31.12.2014.

It is for this reason that we hereby terminate a contractual relationship with you on 31.12.2014, as far as the App Center is concerned. Please note that the termination only refers to the App Center, and doesn’t affect your registration on our portal nor the possibility to use our other services, which you can continue to take advantage of as usual.

Furthermore, please be aware that you may only continue to purchase and download apps through our App Center until 31.12.2014. We are also forced to end the repeated downloads of purchased apps on the 31.12.2014 as well. After this date, you will not be able to download previously purchased apps from our App Center. If you would like to download a purchased app from our site, please do so before 01.01.2015. You may continue to use these purchases and downloaded apps after this date, but will not be able to download them once our App Center is closed.

In connection with the closing of the App Center, the possibility of running a credit account with us will also end. Therefore, we are forced to terminate any existing credit with us as of 19.01.2015 (due to the closing of our App Center).

Before this point in time, we are more than happy to resolve your credited account if you would still like to use it. If you do, please share your banking information or PayPal address via this LINK which we will employ to payout your existing credit.

If you choose not to reclaim your balance of EUR -, and instead would like to donate it to support our site so that we can continue to offer services free of charge and with few advertisements, you can do so via the button below.

Ik heb daar nog een app gekocht, zou ik die later via de Play Store kunnen downloaden?

Dus als ik ergens volgend jaar die app opnieuw wil installeren kan dat niet, terwijl dezelfde app ook in de PlayStore staat, moet ik hem toch opnieuw kopen?

ik snap kopen buiten de playstore niet zo.. ik gebruik ook weleens amazon, maar dan alleen voor de gratis apps, ik zou nooit betalen daar, ze lopen altijd achter met updates en je loopt het risico op dit soort fratsen..

Of kan ik de APK ergens backuppen, en dan later gewoon installeren?
Het gaat trouwens om Caldav Sync.
Ze blijven nu ook nog lekker doorverkopen zo te zien. Ze verwijzen nu door naar de Play-Store, zo te zien.

als je root hebt kan je vrij eenvoudig backups maken met bv titanium backup, zonder root kan het ook, maar moet je je toestel aan je pc hangen en helium backup gebruiken

Reden was geen creditcard nodig.

What happens to apps that I have already purchased?

These are in your account and you can re-download them until 31 December 2014. For legal reasons we must then disable re-downloads. After that date, please contact the developer of the app.

Kan dus contact opnemen met de ontwikkelaar blijkbaar.

Hallo liebe Nutzer / Dear users,

am 20.11 wurden wir von AndroidPIT über die Beendigung des App-Centers in Kenntnis gesetzt. Unsere Apps können dort nur noch noch bis einschließlich zum 31.12.2014 erworben und mit Updates versorgt werden. Die Entscheidung kam auch für uns überraschend, sodass wir leider noch nicht sofort eine fertige Lösung anbieten können. Für uns steht aber fest, dass AndroidPit-Kunden weiterhin nicht auf Updates verzichten sollen.

Bereits seit einiger Zeit verfolgen wir das Ziel, unsere Apps selbst vertreiben zu können. Auch wenn wir gut vorankommen, bedarf es jedoch bis zur Fertigstellung noch einiger Arbeit. Wir schätzen, dass wir bis April nächsten Jahres eine Lösung präsentieren können.

Bis dahin bieten wir an, Updates als zeitbegrenzt funktionsfähige .apk-Datei per Mail an interessierte Nutzer zu verschicken. Wir haben dich in die Liste aufgenommen, ab Januar erhältst du neue Updates per Mail. Falls sich Fragen ergeben so zögere nicht, sie uns zu stellen.

just like you we've been informed by AndroidPIT on 20th November that the App-Center will be closed on 31st December 2014. This decision also came to our surprise which is why we cannot present a ready solution to you. However, and this is absolutely clear: AndroidPIT users should not be left without updates.

For quite some time we've been pursuing the idea of our own distribution platform. Although progress is steady it'll need some more time until it's production ready, our estimate is around April next year. Meanwhile, we're offering to send the latest demo version to interested users. We've added your address to an internal list and starting in January you'll receive your updates via mail. Don't hesitate to send us a mail if you have further questions.
