Vector-compliant routers for Belgium

Sorry for posting in English; my Dutch is not up to standard .(

I have seen in a different context that there people on this forum knowledgeable about the situation in Belgium.

SoI wonder if someone amongst you has experience with routers/modems that are not on the Belgacom certified list. Is it really true that there is not one modem that will work with speeds beyond the Belgacom "fallback profile" (7500/512 Kbps)?

I am no longer sure what to believe; as my ISP has "lied" to me before.

Helaas. Tweakers is een Nederlandse website en de voertaal is dus ook Nederlands.

Je mag het best proberen in NL, we zien zo veel slechte geschreven posts dat een post van iemand wiens Nederlands niet al te best is waarschijnlijk niet opvalt.

Ten slotte is je post niet heel erg duidelijk. Wat is nu precies je probleem. Je ISP liegt, of je modem is niet snel genoeg?
Natuurlijk zijn er modems die sneller aankunnen. Er zijn immers veel hogere snelheden te behalen. Echter misschien worden die niet geleverd door Belgacom?

Hoe dan ook. Probeer het eens in het NL.
