Bluetooth probleem Ubuntu 14.04

Ik gebruik een Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN-WIFI mobo met onboard wifi en bluetooth. Alle hardware (inc. wifi) werkt prima out of the box op een verse Ubuntu 14.04 installatie met uitzondering van bluetooth. Het lijkt erop dat het bluetooth apparaat niet wordt gedetecteerd. Voor alle duidelijkheid ik heb hier niet over een apparaat wat ik wil pairen oid, maar echt over het bluetooth apparaat op het mobo wat niet lijkt te werken

Een paar maanden geleden draaide ik een eerdere versie van Ubuntu icm dit board (Ubuntu 14.xx?) en toen werkte alles inc. bluetooth normaal. Ik kan mij echter niet meer herinneren of ik toen extra handelingen heb verricht om bluetooth werkzaam te krijgen.

Klopt het dat het bluetooth apparaat niet wordt herkend? Zo ja, dan zal ik moeten gaan zoeken naar alternatieve Linux drivers of iets anders? Zo nee, wat kan het probleem dan zijn?

Ik zou verwachten dat zo'n wifi/bt combi kaart z'n bluetooth op USB aansluit. Je uitvoer van lsusb en lshw laten geen van beide zien. Als de BT interface via PCI(-e) zou verbinden, hoor je 'm te zien bij het PCI apparaat dat op regel 318 is gedefinieerd in je lshw uitvoer. Maar daar is alleen je Intel wifi te vinden. Weet je zeker dat je de kaart goed hebt aangesloten?

Wel apart trouwens dat je op een AMD bord een Intel Wifi krijgt. Ik had een andere chipbakker verwacht, zoals Broadcom ofzo.

Apart ja. Ik denk gewoon dat Gigabyte Intel en AMD aan het trollen is

Ja aan het kaartje heb ik niks veranderd, die zit nog steeds in hetzelfde slot (dit ding trouwens: http://www.intel.nl/conte...ss-ac-7260-bluetooth.html). Maar ik kan uit je reactie opmaken dat ik op z'n minst het bluetooth gedeelte van het kaartje terug had moeten zien met die commando's, dat is opzich al nuttige info. De vraag is alleen wat nu verder

wel deze pagina gevonden, vanavond/morgen even proberen ze handmatig te installeren. Zal het resultaat posten.

Zet net het systeem weer aan en kreeg de melding dat er Ubuntu updates beschikbaar zijn. Updates geinstalleerd>restart>hoppa probleem opgelost
