Google Chrome installeren op iPad 1?

Op mijn oude Ipad 1 had ik o.a. google chrome browser geinstalleerd. Nu heb ik hem leeggemaakt en weggegeven. Opnieuw installeren van google chrome op deze ipad 1 lukt niet omdat daarvoor IOS 6 of hoger nodig is en deze heeft IOS 5.1.

Is er geen mogelijkheid meer om op een Ipad 1 met IOS 5.1 google chrome te installeren?

I had this problem too, and found the solution in another thread so thought I'd cross-post. The "legacy" (archived) versions of apps are only downloadable if you have already "bought" the app (even if it's free). When I first tried to download the facebook app it told me only that I couldn't do this because it's only compatible with iOS 6+. Following advice I found on this other thread, I used my Apple ID to "buy" the current version of the app, downloading it onto my computer in the app store.

Then I tried to download the app again from the iPad. This time, along with the warning about iOS 6+, it offered to allow me to download the latest compatible version. Bingo!

Bedankt! Dit werkt. App downloaden met itunes op de PC en daarna met de Ipad 1 installeren.

Kreeg jij niet de melding dat er een oudere versie beschikbaar was van Chrome? Ik heb nml ook nog een ipad1 liggen die ik laatst hersteld heb. Daar heb ik Chrome op gezet en kreeg de melding dat ik een oudere versie kon downloaden.
