Release Date

If you purchase one of the limited Instant Access tiers as soon as we receive your account registration details we will send you an email with the information required to begin your adventure in the Oort Online prototype. All other tiers have varying release dates. Alpha estimated early 2015, Beta mid 2015 and launch late 2015. When we reach these stages of development we will send access emails to all backers from the relevant tier. Please be aware that the game is in the early stages of development.

Mag ik vast de eerste discussie starten..:

Wat vind men hier van de vervormde kubussen, die ze bij Oort laten zien in de video.
Persoonlijk vind ik het afdoen aan het genre van de voxel/kubus adventure/bouw games.. Voornamelijk omdat bouwwerken hun uiterlijk opeens veranderd omdat de code zegt dat je blokken niet vierkant zijn, op plekken dat jij dat wilt. Nou valt het hier wel mee, er zijn spellen die een 'vloeiende' wereld combineren met een kubus gebaseerd bouwsysteem, en dit werkt echt niet imho.

Je kan bloks volgens mij 'verfijnen' zodat ze wel vierkant worden
Dit zeggen ze tenminste in het filmpje dat ook in de beginpost staat (let's play)

Ik ben benieuwd hoe ze omgaan met ingame purchases met echt geld, of er dingen zijn die je alleen met echt geld kan krijgen etc.

Ik heb de beta "gekocht" dus ik kan halverwege 2015 spelen. Waar ik mij een beetje zorgen overmaak zijn de kosten van de blocks. Crafting I kost $ 115.000! Wonderstruck heeft dus meer dan een ton nodig om dit stuk functionaliteit te bouwen. Dan vind ik vrij fors. Hierna moeten er nog 12 blocks komen, we weten niet wat de kosten hiervan zijn maar het aantal nieuwe backers houdt toch wel eens op.

Eens, ik krijg steeds meer het gevoel dat Mojang maar een beetje aan het aanrommelen is. Er zit geen echte lijn in.

Oort Online is sinds vandaag te vinden op Steam als early access game! http://store.steampowered.com/app/324510/ Op dit moment hebben ze net iets over $100k binnengehaald met 1342 backers.

Ik wil toch graag deze topic uit de vergetelheid trekken. Ondertussen heet het Boundless, en is het beschikbaar op Steam voor PS4 en PC.

Ik heb het net een paar dagen, en sta verbaasd over de enorme hoeveelheid economy/crafting/portal hub mogelijkheden. Zijn er Tweakers die dit spelen? Ik zou me graag willen aansluiten bij wat like-minded spelers.
