Lettertype op vooral Facebook onleesbaar.

Hoi, ik opeens het probleem dat op Facebook, het lettertype bovenaan en op sommige pagina's onleesbaar is:



Ik vermoed dat het gebeurd is nadat ik een lettertype uit de Helvetica Neue familie had geïnstalleerd maar toen ik die verwijderde bleef het probleem aanhouden. Tevens lees ik bij anderen die hetzelfde probleem hadden dat zijn door het lettertype Lucida Grande te installeren van het probleem af waren. Helaas in mijn geval niet.

Kan iemand helpen misschien?

OS: Windows 8.1, Browser: Google Chrome.

Edit: Nog even het lettertype vergeleken en het lijkt inderdaad op Helvetica Neue, vreemd genoeg lijkt verwijderen van dit lettertype niet te helpen...

Het is mogelijk om je fonts te restoren toch? Zit niet achter een Windows machine dus doe het even uit mijn hoofd. In control panel naar fonts (onder appearence and personalisation) en dan links in het menu fonts settings / restore defaults.

Fonts restoren en uit en in zoomen werkt niet, tevens is Helvetica nu opeens vervangen door mogelijk Lucida, geen idee waarom. Tevens blijven op sites als 9gag de letters altijd één pixel dik, ongeacht het zoon niveau...

Ik zou zeggen, pak een andere pc met vergelijkbare versie van windows, kopieer de windows/fonts map en vervang hiermee alle fonts op de pc waar je een probleem mee hebt. Waarschijnlijk staat er ergens een font onder de verkeerde naam o.i.d. in de fonts map.. Check eerst wel even of andere browsers hetzelfde probleem hebben, anders zit het probleem misschien toch ergens anders..

Is het enkel bij Chrome, of ook Ff en IE? Als enkel Chrome dan zal je topic zo verplaatst worden naar CSA omdat het dan niets met Windows-als-OS van doen heeft.

Internet Explorer heeft het ook, alleen gebruikt die nu Helvetica Neue, Chrome gebruikt Lucida... Heel vaag. Beide browsers renderen de letters te dun...

Helaas weinig bijdrage van mijn kant behalve een "ik heb dit probleem ook" post. Ik heb er inmiddels mee leren leven. Het probleem is op de zelfde manier ontstaan als bij jou.

Hmm volgens mij heb ik dit eerder zien voorkomen met rare antivirus updates en XP.

Onder het motto van 'baat het niet dan schaad het niet' probeer dit eens:
