Apache doet raar met de rewrite_mod

Ik heb de CMS "Bolt" geinstalleerd op mijn apache server (op basis van CentOS) om eens te testen, maar ik krijg een 404 melding:

Not Found

The requested URL /bolt/bolt/users/edit/ was not found on this server.[/quote]

Ik ben al de hele tijd aan het klooien met
RewriteBase /

door het te veranderen naar bijvoorbeeld: RewriteBase /bolt/, maar ik krijg het maar niet aan de praat. Heeft iemand suggesties hoe ik dit probleem kan tackelen? Ligt het misschien aan de server configuratie?

Hoe graag ik ook activiteit in NOS zie, valt Apache nog altijd onder Server Software, dus gaat 't daar heen.

Leuk dat je phpinfo post, maar we hebben dan geen apache configuratie die je gebruikt. De rewrite rule moet 't ook doen als je plain .html moet weergeven, daar komt PHP dan niet bij kijken. Geef die dus even, eventueel licht aangepast om geen gevoelige gegevens vrij te geven.

Staat je CMS in je DocumentRoot? Dan heb je normaal geen RewriteBase nodig en kan je die weglaten. Die RewriteBase heb je wel nodig als je CMS niet in je DocumentRoot staat, maar ernaar verwezen wordt via een Alias. Dan configureer je de locatiedirectory die je in je Alias gebruikt als RewriteBase.

Ik denk dat het eraan ligt dat ik php5.3.3 gebruik en geen php5.4, ondanks dat volgens de specs php5.3.3 genoeg moet zijn. Dan wordt het einde verhaal voor bolt voor mij.

Zoals ik al zei, zonder configuratie kunnen we niets. Heb je ook al in de logs gekeken om te zien wat er gebeurt?
