Aces Iconia TAB A200 resetten naar factory defaults

Hallo Tweakers,

Ik heb hier een Acer Iconia TAB A200 voor me leggen met een kapot scherm welke niet meer te bedienen is.

Nu wil ik deze een hard reset geven zodat alle data eraf is als deze tablet naar de reparateur gaat, maar dit lukt me niet.

Ze spreken elkaar nogal tegen op internet.

If that doesn’t work, or if your Acer Iconia Tab A200 is frozen:
1. Turn the power off and pull the battery out and reinsert it.
2. Hold the Volume Down button.
3. Then press and release the Power button.
4. Wait a minute,the menu appears that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock.
5. Ok,press the Volume Down button to choose Clear Storage.
6. Next,press and release the Power button,Wait for the Acer Iconia Tab A200 to restart.
7. You will see the two options: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO.
8. If you choose YES, all data will be deleted from your Acer Iconia Tab A200 and including third-party applications.
9. The Acer Iconia Tab A200 will reboot to its original data.

Als ik bovenstaande doe krijg ik dat android poppetje welke op zijn rug ligt met een rood driehoekje daarboven.

1. Turn off the tablet. Hold the power button until it turns off.

2. Set the lock screen slider to the left position.

3. Hold the volume up key (in this instance the part of the volume seesaw closer to the lock screen button) + power button.
4. Once the tablet vibrates release the power button and start moving the lock screen slider from right to left until on your screen you see these two lines:
Erasing Userdata...
Erasing Cache...
Keep holding the volume up key.
5. In the upper left corner of the screen the lines indicating upcoming formatting will appear.

6. The tablet is wiped clean. Cleansed of all wrong doings from the forgone past.

Dit werkt dus helemaal niet, en ik kom gewoon in het "inlogscherm".

Maar ook dat werkt niet.

als je het android robotje ziet, kan je dan wel dit doen:

From the Android system recovery screen, press and hold the Volume down button, press the Volume up button then release.
