Dell 2150CN kleurenprinter voor 99 euro. Wel best dure toners, maar op de Dell website staat hij voor £321.00

Op de groupon site staat Wifi, dit is toch optioneel?

Dan nog is een "Met WiFi en LCD-scherm" beschrijving uitermate misleidend imho. Dus als er 1GB geheugen in kán en je kán een tweede output tray bestellen mag er ook staan "Met WiFi, LCD-scherm, 1GB geheugen en tweede output tray"? Maar ja, omschrijvingen op die site zijn nu eenmaal vaker "creatief".

Iemand een idee hoeveel toner erbij zit? Is dat net als bij inkjetprinters dat je half gevulde krijgt? Of hoe doet Dell dat normaal gesproken?
Ik print zelf eigenlijk heel weinig (heb nu niet eens meer een printer), dus een laser is dan ideaal denk ik want dan droogt de inkt niet uit.
99,- lijkt me geen geld voor een casual printer als ik... of is dit rommel?

ik zit ook te twijfelen over deze printer. Hoe goed of veel beter is hij in vergelijking met de C1660w van Dell. Die heeft wel WiFi en is een stuk kleiner.
De 2150CN is ook al sinds 2011 op de markt...

Om mezelf maar even deels antwoord te geven: volgens de Dell site krijg je toner voor ~1200 pagina's bij de printer (normale toners leveren inkt voor ~2500 pagina's).

Wifi lijkt me niet nodig, UTP is natuurlijk al prima en veel beter dan USB.
Blijft wel de vraag of dit nu rommel is of gewoon een ouder model waar ze van af willen.

dit is gene rommel. lees de reviews er maar op na. de 2150 serie drukt erg netjes af en zelfs foto's komen er netjes uit rollen voor een laser. Voor onder de 200€ vind je geen beter printende laser.

maar daar staat ook weer wat de snelheid bij duplex printen is dus dat kan hij ook;)

At the moment, I own and regularly use 3 printers including this one. I have an HP, a Brother and this Dell. This Dell printer is probably one of the worst pieces of junk I have ever purchased. First, it is enormous which normally would not be that big of a deal but you need to have it within arms reach which is a problem if you have a limited sized workspace. It needs to be within arms reach because, I would say 7 times out of 10, this printer wants me to confirm that the paper I say is in it is really in it before it will print anything. It literally will not print unless I walk all the way across the room and hit the check mark button twice. Plus, you have to purchase some other part in order to set this printer up to print wirelessly.

Also, this printer beeps incessantly. It beeps when it wants you to confirm the paper type. It beeps when you open the front. It beeps when its printing. it beeps when its done printing. It beeps when there's a jam. It beeps when you clear the jam. It is the loudest most obnoxious piece of trash I have ever owned.

Then there is the SSF or manual feed tray. A full 50-60% of the time the tray does not function properly. You absolutely cannot put the paper in, press print and think it will be okay. It will not detect the paper size. Even when you input the paper size in the computer, it will tell you the paper you have in the feeder is the wrong size. It will print as if its an 8.5 x 11 when you put in and manually entered a 5 x 7. It also feeds paper crookedly (so labels and things like that will not be aligned).

Then there is the print quality. The black printing is just fine on plain white paper. But, try anything outside of the norm and it is hit or miss. Foil paper specifically designed to print with a laser printer? Good luck. It may print correctly, it may not. Half the page could print and the other half looks like the printer is out of ink and it isn't. The color printing is DRASTICALLY different than how it appears on the screen. I know this is a function of many different things but I do not have this problem to the same extent on my other laser printer. Also, this printer DOES NOT print on paper any thicker than MAYBE 65lb cover. While it may print on that thickness, it will curl the paper so bad that its unusable unless you spend a couple days re-flattening it.

Finally, there is the ghosting and constant color alignment you will need to do. I have had to align this printer more times than I can remember because it prints everything with a red shadow.

I am familiar with electronics. I have 3 computers and 3 printers that I use almost everyday and I cannot wait until the toner is gone out of this big hulking thing so that I can justify throwing it in the trash where it belongs.

Speaking of toner - that is the only part of this printer that is not bad - I have used it quite a bit (especially when you consider all of the misprints and garbage prints that I end up throwing out) and the black toner is about half full while the color toners are all still 100% full. So, the toner lasts awhile.

Ik heb deze printer en hij doet het prima. Jammer dat het geen automatische duplex heeft.

Heb je een net andere type misschien? Anders is 'Duplex - 600 x 600 dpi, up to 16.1ppm' ook uitermate misleidend.

Dat is de snelheid die mogelijk is met de optionele duplex module ....de misleidende en gebrekkige advertentie heeft mij in ieder doen besluiten hem niet te kopen
