Mouseware is not supported in Windows 7, but the Trackman Marble should operate on Windows 7 HID drivers

I realize it has been a year and a half since you posted this but I do have an answer.
I too have a Trackman Marble ( without the wheel) that I love. In fact, when they were being discontinued in 1998 I bought 12 of them of which I have five left.
I recently upgraded ( Aug 2012) to Win 7 64bit and realized Logitech did not have drivers for my old Trackball.
I downloaded Microsoft’s Intellipoint program for their trackballs and it works perfectly with the Trackman Marble.
You can customize the buttons to whatever you prefer along with all the other options Mouseware originally provided. I have been using it now for a month and my Trackman Marble works just like it did in XP.
The program will support both the Trackman Marbles with and without the scroll wheel.
Hope this helps.
I do not have the link but the exact name of the program is
“ IPx64_1033_7.10.344.0.exe “.
If you Google it you should be able to find it.
