Ik heb een nieuwe PC gebouwd en daar wil ik mijn Midiman 2x2 midi interface (ISA-slot) op aansluiten. Met dit apparaat kan ik mijn synthesizer aansluiten op mijn computer.
systeem = Epox 8KTA3+ moederbord +Athlon 1200, windows ME.
Het probleem is dat het moederbord de ISA kaart niet herkent, waarschijnlijk omdat het bord te snel is? Ik heb vrije IRQ's gemaakt, dus dat lijkt me (niet meer) het probleem.

Q3. My Address and IRQ settings seem fine, but nothing shows up at that address when I look at the Computer Properties Input/Output list from the Device Manager. Im not getting an error message, but the Winman isnt working.
R. On some faster computers adjustments can be made in the BIOS that affect performance of the ISA buss. One might try reserving the IRQ for a legacy device as mentioned above. Also, the 16 bit recovery time could be shortened. This option is usually found in the "Chipset Features" page. The "BIOS Features" page may offer an ISA buss speed. A little experimentation with this setting may be necessary.

Ik kan de optie 16 bit recovery time nergens vinden in mijn Award Bios.....of kan het ook anders?
