Using the Recovery Console

You can use the recovery console to reset the Boxee or network storage settings on your Iomega TV. You can also use the recovery console to restore your Iomega TV to the factory default image. You probably will not need to use the recovery console unless your Iomega TV quits working or hangs.

Follow the instructions below to enter the recovery console:
  1. Power down the Iomega TV. To power down completely, press and hold the power button on either the remote control or the front of the Iomega TV about four seconds, then release it. Wait for Iomega TV to shut down.


  2. Use a straightened paper clip or ballpoint pen to press and hold the reset button on the back of the Iomega TV:

  3. While pressing the reset button, press and release the power button on the front of the Iomega TV.


  4. Continue holding the reset button for about 15 to 20 seconds. You can release the reset button a few seconds after the Iomega logo screen appears on the TV.


  5. When the recovery console loads, you will see the following options:
Restart
Reset Administrative Password
Reset NAS Settings
Reset Boxee Settings
USB Update
Factory Restore
