Here is the alternative way to mod an orb...
The orb is made up of two spereate parts: the cylinder shaped heart and a border. By default, the border creates problems on a BP6 as you all know. But no worries, there is a better solution. Just dettach the clip & fan so that on both sides of the orb the iron heart is visible. Put the orb in normal position in a wooden frame with a hole so that the bottom of the orb (were the chip makes contact) is free. Now hit the topside of the heart (were the fan used to be) with a wooden hammer softly untill the
space bweteen the border and heart increased with app. 4 mm. Decrease the pressure that the clip exerts on the cpu when locking the orb by pushing down the locking part, which is attached on the clip.
