The following text is the message format for a 3590 drive SIM console message:

IEA480E dddd, TAPE, type-mod, severity ALERT, SER=mmpp-ssss, MC=F2,
ES=es, ID=id, REF=60ff-eeee-eeee, UM=uuuu-uuuu-uuuu, (CLEAN,
CLEAN/SERVICE, CLEANED), REPEATED.

Table 4 defines the lower case fields of the console message.

id Identifier of the SIM in the control unit internal SIM log
ff FID code for service organization
eeee-eeee Engineering data for service organization
uuuu-uuuu-uuuu Engineering data for service organization
CLEAN, Displayed if device requested a clean for usage reasons, a clean
CLEAN/SERVICE, for performance reasons, or if a cleaner tape was processed
CLEANED
REPEATED Displayed if the SIM was reported previously
