Abit VT6X4 & Soundblaster Live

Ik heb een nieuwe PC met een Abit VT6X4 + Soundblaster Liver kaart... Het regent echter blauwe schermen als ik de Soundblaster kaart erin stop. In het BIOS is de onboard sound-chipset disabled... Ik heb ook al een ander iets ouder soundblaster kaartje geprobeerd, maar krijg dezelfde blauwe schermen.. Ook al de hele bups opnieuw geprobeerd te installeren, maar ik heb het idee dat het aan m'n moederbord ligt... toch een conflict tussen de sound chipset op het moederbord en de geluidskaart of zo... Wie o wie kan me helpen, ik heb echt geen idee hoe ik dit kan oplossen!

Toevallig een P3 op je bord..

SB Live! And Pentium III 500 MHz (Socket370)
Trying to install a SoundBlaster Live! in a Pentium III 500 MHz system will
cause a blue screen error in EMU10K1.

To rectify the problem, a value needs to be entered into the Windows
Registry: HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Creative
Tech\DeviceInfo\PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0002\MMX="1"

If the SB Live! driver set or software package has not been installed, enter
MMX="1" in the Registry before installing the package. After entering the
value, it is possible to install the package without encountering the
problem.
If the blue screen occurs while installing the package then do the
following:
If it is possible to recover from the blue screen and run Regedit, then
Enter MMX="1" in the Registry
Restart the system
Re-install the software package
If it is not possible to recover from the blue screen, then
Restart the system in Command Prompt mode by pressing F8 at start up
Delete EMU10K1.VXD in the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory
Restart the system
Enter MMX="1" in the Registry
Re-install the software package
!!!IMPORTANT: BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES TO THE REGISTRY, PLEASE MAKE A
BACK-UP FIRST!!!
