1) Enter the file system... step 1) menu 2) files 3) file system
2) search the word; kbd_backlight
3) a few entries appear; kbd_backlight & kbd_backlight_timeout
(4) Currently by default, those entries are set as a ZERO value ; 0 ... however zero in both entries means power OFF Always)
5) easy fix!! Edit the entries! Simply Right click the kbd_backlight icon , and select.. open as administrator.. It opens, erase the .. 0 .. and enter a... 1 ... instead and SAVE
6) next do the file; kbd_backlight_timout... (the same right click and open as administrator) The default value is 0, erase the zero and enter 1 for 10 second timeout or I am using number 2 ......for 60 seconds.... or you can enter a.. 3 ... for it to always be lit .... Click Save \o/ woooo... Now you should be Lit up with no problems

Even zoeken waar ze staan, dan kan je 't via rc.local laten aanpassen, of als het een module is, via /etc/modprobe.d/keylight.conf de opties meegeven voor het laden van de module. Keylight.conf is een bestandsnaam die je zelf mag verzinnen
