[MacBook Air] Touchpad werkt niet in BootCamp

Hallo,

Ik moet voor m'n baas Windows 8 om zijn MacBook Air zetten, echter werkt te touchpad nu niet! ik heb de windowsdrivers al geinstalleerd en voor de rest werkt alles zoals toetsenbord verlichting enzo.

Is er iemand die hier de oplossing voor heeft?

Waarom installeer je Windows 8 wanneer het nog niet officieel ondersteund wordt?

Omdat die perfect werkt op mijn MacBook pro 15"

Dat is natuurlijk een drogreden maargoed. Heb je al geprobeerd Apple zelf te bellen?

Nee nog niet gedaan, maar lees veel verschillende dingen op het internet bij de ene werkt die wel en bij de andere weer niet.. Ga nog 1 ding proberen en daarna wel bellen denk ik.

Al gaat Apple je gewoon vertellen dat Windows 8 niet supported is en je dus voor support niet bij Apple moet zijn. Er zal vanzelf een BootCamp update komen met nieuwe drivers en support voor Windows 8. Tot die tijd kan je beter geen Windows 8 draaien op je Mac.

Overigens: waarom voor zakelijk gebruik een non-supported config bouwen?

Interessant stukje hier :

1. Go to Device Manager, you should find two Touchpad entries with an exclamation mark.
2. Right click then uninstall (make sure to check the "delete driver software" option) the two Trackpad devices.
3. Now hit rescan for hardware. It is one of the buttons on the top menu.
4. Go find your BootCamp drivers, but don't run the full setup, instead find the folder that specifically has the driver install packages in them (Usually inside Drivers/Apple and then 64bit if you are using a 64bit version of Windows 8.
5. Now, install the ones that are along the lines of "Apple Multitouch Trackpad". There are two files.
6. After this, go to your Boot Camp options to make sure that it now sees your Trackpad.
