Ik heb op de website van Neoya (volgens mij originele uitgevers van Wii2HDMI, vestiging in Hong Kong als ik het niet verkeerd heb) wat nu precies het verschil is tussen Wii2HDMI van Neoya en de Wii2HDMI waar FULL HD 1080p opstaat (merk onbekend voor mij. Dit mailtje kreeg ik terug (deel ervan):

Actually, about the gold plated HDMI connector you mentioned, the metallic surface on HDMI connecter is not directly responsible for signal transmission. Therefore, the gold plated surface is basically for aesthetic purpose. For the pins inside of the connector that actually carry the signals, all key contact position are gold plated in Wii2HDMI.
Mijn vraag zijn er mensen op deze site die ervaring hebben met 1 of beide producten? Is het nog van toegevoegde waarde als je t.v. zelf een upscaling functie heeft? Wat ik uit reviews begrijp is dat het de Wii2HDMI Converter de Wii niet in een HD monster veranderd maar dat het beeld van de t.v. iets helderder wordt, het upgrade video en audio naar HDMI signaal, het werkt op DVI (PC) monitor, het is plug and play. Omdat het product zo moeilijk is te verkrijgen in Nederland vraag ik mij af of het een echte toegevoegde waarde is. En zo ja, zou iemand misschien weten of het uitmaakt of ik die van Neoya zou nemen of die 1080p versie?
Ikzelf heb net de Panasonic 42GT50 aangeschaft (een echte aanrader trouwens). Ben benieuwd of de Wii op deze televisie beter tot zijn recht komt met een Wii2HDMI converter. Alvorens bedankt voor eventuele reacties.
