werkt mijn losse videokaart?

Hallo mensen,

Ik heb een Asus N55SF met een HD Graphics 3000 en een GeForce GT 555M videokaart erin. Als ik met FurMark of 3D-mark een test wil doen ziet hij alleen de onboard kaart. Nu twijfel ik of ik tijdens een spel wel de juiste videokaart gebruik?! Want bij de makkelijkste test van FurMark heb ik maar 2 fps.

Ik heb de laatste updates binnen gehaald van NVidia. Ook heb ik gekeken in de BIOS of er een instelling hiervoor was. Het lijkt me dat hij dit automatisch moet doen als je een programma opstart. Maar waarom niet bij FurMark en 3DMark?

Als het goed is schakelt hij automatische over naar de 555m als hij de kracht nodig heeft. Je komt er trouwens heel makkelijk achter komen door naar je fps te kijken als je aan het gamen bent.

Volgens deze bron moet je zijn in je Nvidia optie menu om je eerste keus videokaart aan te geven.

in the nvidia control panel, under "adjust image settings...," tell it to use your advanced 3d settings, then go to "manage 3d settings." in this menu, the top option will let you chose a preferred graphics processor (where you will chose the nvidia card), but the recommended option is to go to the program settings tab, adding the specific programs you want to use the nvidia card, then tell it to use the nvidia card rather than auto-select. that way, when browsing and doing ordinary tasks, it will use the intel card and save battery, but with the programs u specify, it will use the nvidia card.
