Ubuntu 10.4 Geen launcher meer

Hallo,

Ik heb onlangs een update gedaan naar ubuntu 10.4. Er hoort links een menu balk te zitten, maar deze is op vreemde wijze verdwenen. ik heb al verschillende googlezoek opdrachten gedaan maar ik kan er eerlijk gezegd niet veel over vinden. Is iemand bekend met dit probleem?

2e google zoekopdracht;

Press Alt+F2, in text fild type 'gnome-terminal' (without quots) and click on 'Run'.
In terminal submit the commands below one by one. Select one line at a time and press 'Enter'.

gconftool --recursive-unset /apps/panel
rm -rf ~/.gconf/apps/panel
pkill gnome-panel

Opgelost;

I had a similar problem and this is what I did:

Right click on your desktop and choose Create Launcher...
Enter the following in the dialog box:
Type: Application in Terminal
Name: Reset Unity (you can use anything here)
Command: unity --reset
Comment: (anything)


Now double click on the link to open it in a terminal window.

When everything is done (when your bars are back) restart your computer.
