Ik ben van plan een nieuwe PC te bouwen met in ieder geval de Fractal Design R3 en een Nexus RX-6300 PSU.
Nou lees ik in diverse reviews het volgende:
Anandtech over de R3:
"...the hole that was intended for the AUX 12V line above the motherboard tray is about the right size, but runs right into the top rim of the case. As a result, the plastic plug part of the cable can't fit through the gap, or at least couldn't with our testbed; it just butts up against the inside rim of the case."
In deze review hebben ze de stekker er wel doorheen gekregen.
Pureoverclock en hardwaresecrets over de RX-6300:
"The cables are all sleeved to the full length in black nylon mesh with white accents, and look rather sleek if you ask us. The cable lengths for the Nexus RX-6300 are adequately long, about 20". It's been our experience that this is adequate for use in a mid-tower case, but in a full tower case with a bottom-mounted power supply design this usually poses cable management issues in trying to route them behind the motherboard tray and out of sight."
"The cables that are permanently attached to the power supply are 18 1/8” (46 cm) long, and the cables from the modular cabling system are a little bit longer, with 19 ¾” (50 cm)
Vragen
Hoe zit dat met het bovenste kabelmanagementgat in de R3 en wat is de goede lengte voor een kabel om hem (als hij door het gat past) bovenlangs te leiden?". Dan ga ik waarschijnlijk een verlengkabel erbij kopen.
