zou jij even willen kijken wat ze daarmee bedoelen..

hier is wat er op de site van dat mitac (makers van mijn laptop) staat.. ik snap er niets van..:

When you fail in the process of flashing the bios, for example you fogot to place the parameter
'ub' then next time you boot the system you get no display.
Please make a PIO connector
we call this loop back connector 'boot block' and you can use it on 5026, 5033 and 5031/6031.
You can fix this symptom by below steps:
1). Make a boot block jump a wire to short 5 - 15/ 6-13/7-12/8-10/9-11

2). Prepare a bootable diskette (without any memory management driver on config.sys
& autoexec.bat)and copy miflash
program and BIOS file (named BIOS.ROM) into the diskette.

3). insert diskette in FDD and connect a "Boot Block" on PIO port

4).Power on system and then system will access FDD to execute miflash BIOS back to orignal
version.

Dat is de mijne in iedergeval wel.

PIO-poort is IDE poort.
Als het moederbord een open lijn heeft tussen
5 - 15/ 6-13/7-12/8-10/9-11

dan flasht ie kennelijk vanaf een flop.
