Lotro huge frame drops

Hey guys,

While playing lotro I get (on average) 100 fps, but sometimes it drops to around 5-10 for 2 seconds and then back to 60-120. This process keeps repeating when i turn around or when i'm running. When im standing still it keeps a solid 120 fps.

Coud it be my HDD or my CPU?
I dont think its my GPU though

Is it wise to upgrade to a ssd, because i get these drops because of the HDD loading speed?

What settings do you play, and can it be that another program does some stuff on the background?

we zitten hier niet op een engelse site en in eerdere posts praatte je ook nederlands.
dit ligt gewoon aan de game zelf. als je je omdraait moet alles weer geladen worden.
het kan inderdaad zijn door je hardeschijf, maar het eerste waar ik aan denk is je ram. wat zijn de specs daarvan?

Hey Veronex,

GoT is a Dutch-language forum. Not that there's anything wrong with posting in English, but there's a time and a place for everything and this isn't the right place for that. If you can't read or write Dutch, I'd recommend the forums at www.anandtech.com and www.tomshardware.com , both have lots of experienced users who can assist with all manner of technical situations. Mixing up languages here just risks confusing everyone.

Mocht je trouwens wel Nederlands kunnen schrijven, wees dan niet zo'n lui aars en neem de moeite je post aan te passen aan GoT. Dat betekent niet alleen in het Nederlands schrijven maar ook rekening te houden met ons Algemeen Beleid en dan vooral de 'Quickstart' voor hoe een topic te openen. Daarin staat onder meer dat we verwachten dat je laat zien wat je zelf allemaal al opgezocht hebt voordat je je toevlucht zocht tot GoT. Dat ontbreekt hier volledig. Daarom zou dit topic ook in het Nederlands dicht gaan.
