I recently used tweakers.net to buy all components for a new eyefinity system!
and I just put all the components together and now it doesn't work
This is what I got:
Processor: i5 2500k
Mobo: Asus P67 Sabertooth
Ram: G.Skill 8GB 1333
GPU Asus HD6950 x2
PSU: Corsair HX750W
SSD: Corsair Force 120GB
HDD: External 2TB WD Elements
Case: CM 690-ii Advanced (I know its a tight fit, had to cut cost for the triple monitors)
3x Samsung 2443BW
I tried building the mobo outside the case with only the essentials (1ram stick in the correct slot, 1 gpu, keyboard, mouse, screen.) connected but still nothing. I'm 100% sure all the cables and wires are correctly connected. I also tried to see if the psu might be faulty by testing it with a paperclip and a case fan but it worked fine.I tried to install a mobo speaker but could only get my hands on a 2 pin speaker while the mobo wants a 4 pin speaker. so now I am out of ideas!
the reason i post here is because I find it kinda hard to believe that a mobo that has military standards is dead on arrival. Could it perhaps be that the ram sticks are the problem? i'm asking you guys to share your experience if you have build a similar system and can give me any advice on what to do next!
