Linux gaat in slaap stand ondankt dat ik het uit heb gezet ?

Ik heb dus een Linux machine Ubuntu 10.10, en die moet eigenlijk 24/7 beeld geven zonder in slaap stand te gaan.

Echter na ongeveer 15 minuten gaat hij alsnog in slaap stand ? ook al heb ik het uitgeschakeld bij energy beheer enz. Screen saver is uitgeschakkeld.

Wie kan mij verder helpen ?

Heb je ook ingesteld dat jou settings in energy beheer standaard zijn voor de hele machine? Of alleen voor jou profiel?

I use the screen saver to display a clock and the monitor blanking used to annoy me.
From what I've read there is a "hidden" power-control option set at 10 minutes, so that no matter what, your monitor gets powered down at the 10-minute point of idle.

so you need to add it to startup applications.

Dit lijkt inderdaad te werken, maar kan iemand mij mss vertellen waarom hij dit niet op wil slaan in zijn aplication startup?
