De firmware is niet alleen voorbehouden aan het 37" model uit de 7000-serie. Ook de 5000, 6000, 8000 en 9000 serie vallen onder de update zolang deze maar op een '5' eindigt. Tevens is de afmeting van het scherm niet van belang.Philips heeft op zijn website nieuwe firmare voor zijn lcd-tv's van het type 37PFL7605H gezet, met 140.023.000 als versienummer.
