Foutmelding bij opstarten XP

Sinds gisteren krijg ik bij het opstarten van de computer de volgende melding:

Dual-channel operation requires indentical paired DIMMs installed across both memory channels.

Bios has detected a non-optimal memory configuration. Changing the existing DIMM configuration can improve the system's memory bus bandwidth:

Channel A, DIMM 0 should match Channel B, DIMM 0
Channel A, DIMM 1 should match Channel B, DIMM 1

Press (F4) to Resume

Als ik op F4 druk dan komt 'Schijfleesfout' te staan en 'Druk op CTRL+ALT+DEL om opnieuw te starten'. Dit herhaalt zich telkens bij het opnieuw opstarten.

Wie weet hoe ik dit probleem kan verhelpen?

Voor je eerste issue is het een kwestie van je geheugen goed inprikken, zodat het in dualchannel draait, mocht je dit op willen lossen.

Voor het 2e punt, wordt je HDD nog wel herkend? Zo ja, kun je deze nog wel benaderen (bijv vanaf een livelinux schijfje). Schijfleesfouten betekenen meestal dat je schijf dood is, of dat bijv het bestandssysteem corrupt is. Test deze dus eerst eens.

Het geheugen zit er goed in. Hoe weet ik of mijn HDD nog wel herkend wordt?
