64-bit of 32-bit

en wat is AMD Thunderbird?

Tbird en PIII is volgens mij allebei 32-bit

Die CPU units zijn allemaal 32bit.
Je moet nog wat wachten op 64bit CPU's (ondersteund door windows(XP))
of je kan een Sun workstation met een 64bit sparc kopen, moet je natuurlijk linux of unix draaien.

De Thunderbird is de AMD CPU. Verkrijgbaar tot 1,33 Ghz als ik mij niet vergis.

PS: er das wel een HELE NEWBIE vraag die jij stelt, zit jij hier wel op jouw plaats ???

ik heb net een ruzie gehad met iemand.. die beweerde dat PIII 64-bit is en het "slechte" AMD maar 32-bit...

ach AMD rulez klaar. ik wist gewoon dat ik gelijk had.... ze zijn allebei voor 32-bit software programma's enzo... de itanium is wel 64-bit maarja das een server cpu

ik ERGER me aan mensen die weinig van hardware afweten bah bah

en nee ik ben zeker geen newbe maar ik moest dit ff posten zodat diegene kan zien dat ik gelijk heb...

De persoon in kwestie heeft gewoon ooit iets gelezen over de Itanium, en denkt dus dat alle processors zo zijn.,.

Van dat soort mensne niks aantrekken.

Fout, de PIII heeft een 256-bit breede databus naar het cachegeheugen. De TB heeft wel een 64-bit breede bus.

Nee, jij weet zoveel van hardware af, dat je hier nog moet vragen hoeveel bits P3 en TB zijn.
