This is what I have:
A7V133 REV 1.05 (Raid 0, Raid 1)
Standard Spire CPU cooler
CPU TEMP before 1004 BIOS update = 49°C idle
CPU TEMP after 1004 BIOS update = 49°C idle
Program used: Hardware Sensors Monitor PRO 3.2.3.1 (also known as HMONITOR)
Note that I am basically NOT using any thermal compund since the one on the heatsink has completely dried out.
My suggestion is check the BIOS temperature inside the BIOS (usually the most accurate). Then flash back to 1003 and check the temp in the BIOS again. If there are no changes then you know it depends on your MB monitor program. DO NOT use ASUS Probe since that is the most inaccurate thermal utility I have ever seen.
