I have a duron 700mhz, MSI k7tpro motherboard with VIA chipset!
Everything works but when i try just a simple 3d game it crashes. I already tried to use other drivers, almost everyone. The problem keeps coming back!!!!

Does anyone know if this is a problem with the combination V3800(32 MB) and a VIA chipset? Or if it is something else please reply!
BTW: My BIOS settings are supposed to be correct.

Hmm, het zou makkelijker zijn als je ook vermeldde welke drivers je nu gebruikt en met welke je getest hebt, want dat verandert nogal snel. Ook graag vermelden welke games deze problemen geven...

I use windows 98 and now use the original drivers of ASUS. But they also suck.

Have you already installed the VIA 4in1 drivers. If not, this my be your problem. Many problems with AMD motherboards are solved by just installing these drivers + your system will be a lot faster.

Perhaps setting AGP to 2x in the BIOS helps..

Hmmm, these drivers are still pretty hard to identify. Asus always encloses their most recent available drivers with their products.
Anyway for your mainboard you could try the 4-in-1 service pack version 4.24.2 4.25.1 4.28 or 4.29 beta.
The graphical interface requires an nVidia reference driver. These drivers a.k.a. detonators are to be found in http://www.nvidia.com or on other sites which I do not have access to right now.

Please tell us exactly which drivers you are using or have tested with...
