HP 6730b -- Custom BIOS Logo

Ik heb een HP 6730b, en ik zie in de BIOS de opties "Custom Logo" staan, deze is geenabled, maar ik vind nergens een tool om dit logo te flashen.

Ik heb al gezocht , en je zou er een tool ereplo08.exe voor nodig hebben, maar ik vind deze nergens. Ook op de HP site staat er nergens een uitleg.

Is er iemand die er ervaring mee heeft en mij kan helpen?

Wie is de BIOS leverancier ? bijv. Phoenix ? Dan Phoenix Bios Editor gebruiken.

Dat kan je tegenwoordig niet meer zien, is een volledig custom bios. Maar als de optie er is, zou deze toch aangesproken moeten kunnen worden?

Customized Logo Enable/Disable Default: Disable

The EFI BIOS provides the nice feature for the user to customize the logo
displaying during the boot. The logo is a bitmap file that a customer can
add/change on the HP_TOOLS partition.
Since BIOS can’t check the signature of the customized logo bitmap files, it may
be used as an attack tool of the BIOS post process. Thus an option is needed to
disable this capability for the highly sensitive security environment.

Weet dat ze het aardig lastig hebben gemaakt, maar kijk hier is.
Bovenstaand is een quote uit die bron, je moet dus naar de EFI BIOS.

Ik heb de PDF eens doorgelezen, nu nog weten waar en hoe de bitmap moet heten... Toch al een stukje verder! Bedankt!

Ondertussen gevonden in deze PDF hoe het moet :

Custom Logo Enable/Disable Default: Disabled

The EFI BIOS allows you to customize the logo displayed during the boot. The logo is a bitmap file
that you can add or change on the EFI partition.

Use the following steps to set up a custom logo screen on your computer:

1. Select the custom logo image you want to use, and then use imaging software to convert the image to a bitmap (.bmp) and modify image size to 1024 x 768 or smaller, as necessary.
2. In the Hewlett-Packard folder on the HP_TOOLS partition, create a Logo subfolder.
3. Save the image in the \Hewlett-Packard\Logo folder.
4. Rename the image as Hplogo.bmp.
5. Reboot the computer and press the F10 key to enter Setup.
6. Select System Configuration, and then select Boot Options.
7. Select Custom Logo, and then select Enabled.
8. Save changes and exit Setup. The custom logo displays on the boot screen.


Zelf heb ik dus eerst een nieuwe partitie aangemaakt in FAT32 met de volume naam HP_TOOLS ( Hoofdletters! ). Vervolgens de mappen en het bestand aangemaakt. Dit werkt dus perfect! Super gemakkelijk... je kan zoiets zelf scripten !

Bij deze dus opgelost!
