BSOD ( atipmdag.sys ) bij gamen (GTA4) HD5850

ik heb sinds kort een nieuw systeem:

+ een Club3D HD5850 1GB grafische kaart.

Nu heb ik telkens als ik GTA4 of een andere zware game speel na een aantal minuten een BSOD. Zijn er meer mensen met dit probleem?? De BSOD verwijst telkens naar ATIPMDAG.SYS.

Ik heb alle drivers al geupdate, BIOS geupdate, casefans speed omhoog gezet.... maar het blijft maar gebeuren... iemand een idee???

Daarnaast geeft windows ook maar aan dat ik maar 2.99gb RAM heb?.... terwijl in de BIOS geeft hij wel 4GB aan. Kan het zijn dat de HD5850 1GB in beslag neemt ofzo?...

Je zou denken dat dit een 32-bit kwestie is maar aangezien je zelf aangeeft dat je 64-bit hebt, lijkt dit niet het probleem. Controleer het anders even

Voor het andere deel van je probleem heb ik helaas geen tips.

SO WHAT DID I : well in control panel - hardware, rightclic on the card and selected uninstall. Should Windows delete files of driver ? YES he should. I did that with both cards. Resolution goes to 800 or so (it's normal). Without rebooting, i executed the uninstall of ALL ati software through Control Panel - Programs and Functions. After that, i rebooted and installed 10.2 via setup.exe. And it worked.

Misschien dat het helpt?
