Time Machine + Spotlight ellende

Het probleem: Spotlight indexed m'n Time Machine disk (usb connected), terwijl ik hem gewoon in de privacy settings heb toegevoegd van Spotlight (om indexing te voorkomen). Google heeft me niet echt op weg geholpen.. ik zie veel forummessages met dezelfde problemen, maar geen bruikbare antwoorden (of antwoorden die bij mij effect hebben). Ik heb in de root van de Time Machine partitie de .Spotlight-v100 dir ook weggehaald, ik heb de directe backup map in de Time Machine partitie toegevoegd aan de privacy entry-table van spotlight, maar niks helpt. Nu duurde m'n initial backup 2,5 dag voor +/- 160GB, en iedere incremental backup duurt nu gewoon iets van 8 uur ofzo, echt ridiculous.

Dus, heeft er iemand nog een idee?

Probeer dit eens:

-Haal je drive weg bij privacy.
-Unmount in disk utility je time machine HD en mount hem daarna weer
-Zet je Time Machine HD weer bij spotlight privacy

Ik kan hem nieteens unmounten nu via Disk Utility... Ik moest erg lang wachten tot Time Machine klaar was met z'n huidige backup, dus vandaar dat ik wat laat reageer. Maargoed, ik heb hem kunnen unmounten na een aantal pogingen.. Hij is trouwens Mac OS Extended (Journaled) formatted, dat zou goed moeten zijn toch?

Ik ga hem eens laten verifyen, kijken wat daar uit komt rollen. Ik heb overigens ook een dashboard widget gedownload die de laatste Time Machine logs uitleest, en ik zie erg vaak staan:

Beide messages hebben me op Google wel resultaten opgeleverd, maar niet echt werkende oplossingen... En m'n laptop wordt echt retetraag met Time Machine en/of Spotlight indexing, dus ik word er een beetje niet goed van... Een backup hebben is leuk, maar als het op deze manier moet houd ik het wel bij handmatige backups om de maand ofzo.

Dit heb ik uit de Time Machine Buddy dashboard widget gehaald die ze zelf overigens gewoon uit de Time Machine logs haalt. Afgezien van die ene error hoort dit toch niet?
