Volgens het topic dat wordt aangehaald, is de rom van Symbian^2 wel degelijk klaar. Alleen is die in opdracht van TI gemaakt en zij hebben besloten die niet openbaar te maken.

I *really* wish I could do that. Unfortunately, the agreement with TI is that although I built the S^2 and S^3 Baseports for TI, only TI can release the Baseport or derived binaries - which they choose to do on http://www.omapzoom.org , and currently only with the S^3 Baseport. Indeed, when I initially built the S^2 Baseport, I could only do so whilst working at TI's offices - I eventually for the Baseport code delivered back to our London HQ when the correct agreements were in place.

We are in discussion with TI about releasing the S^2 Baseport via omapzoom.org - and then you'll be able to build Zoom2 images for S^2. As I'm working on a full UI for S^3, you'll also be able to use the already available S^3 Baseport to build Zoom2 binaries as well.

Op dit moment is hij dus bezig met Symbian^3.
