IBM SPSS Statistics

Voor school moet ik het programma SPSS Statistics gaan gebruiken, het liefst versie 16. Ons word aangeraden dit te bestellen via sufspot.nl, waar ik als OSX-er gediscrimineerd word. Oftewel er staan alleen Windows versies op surfspot.nl

Nu heb ik geprobeerd om een versie die ik ergens op internet vond te installeren, maar de installatie word wel door lopen, maar na 1% schiet het programma naar het einde en zegt dat hij klaar is. Om daarna alleen een log file achter te laten in de map waar het programma moet komen:

Heeft iemand hier al SPSS (versie 16 of hoger) geinstalleerd of kan mij verder helpen met de installatie of een website geven waar ik dit programma kan kopen?

spss 18 for de mac is voor mij gewoon via surfspot gewoon te bestellen. Zowel voor medewerkers als docenten te koop voor € 16,25.
Een nieuwere versie werkt ook prima. Het enige waar je tegen aan kunt lopen is dat bepaalde specifieke opties nu net even ergens anders te vinden zijn.

Elders zal je het niet voor zo'n lage prijs vinden. De normale prijs is vele honderden euros.. al krijgen universiteiten en scholen flinke korting en leveren ze deze software dus via surfspot.

Gebruik je Mac OS X Leopard of Mac OS X Snow Leopard? Er is in Snow Leopard namelijk het een en ander veranderd aan de Java installatie in het OS. De installer mekkert over het niet kunnen vinden van de Java Virtual Machine.

We gaan je hier niet helpen met het installeren van software die je "ergens op het internet hebt gevonden". Daarnaast is SPSS voor de Mac gewoon te koop via Surfspot. Zowel de versie 16 als versie 17 als versie 18. Dit topic gaat in ieder geval op slot.
