[SBS2008] migratie probleem public folders

Hallo Tweakers,

Ik ben bezig een SBS2003 server te migreren naar SBS2008.

Tot zover gaat alles goed, maar nu gaat er iets niet goed.

Ik gebruik de migratie handleiding van Microsoft, en het gaat dan specifiek om dit stukje:

If you are running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 in the organization, you can use the Exchange System Manager to move the public folders.
To move Exchange Server public folders

1.

On the Source Server, to start the Exchange System Manager, in the Server Management Console navigation pane, expand Advanced Management, and then expand First Organization (Exchange).
2.

Expand Administrative Groups. If Administrative Groups is not displayed in the navigation pane, do the following:
1. Right-click DomainName (Exchange), and then click Properties.

2. In the DomainName Properties dialog box, select the Display administrative groups check box, and then click OK.

3. Restart the Server Management Console, and then repeat steps 1 and 2.

Expand first administrative group, expand Servers, expand <ServerName>, expand First Storage Group, right-click Public Folder Store (<ServerName>), and then click Move All Replicas.
4.

In the Move All Replicas dialog box, click the Exchange server on the Destination Server in the drop-down menu, and then click OK.

You must wait for the next instance of public folder replication to complete before the public folder replicas are removed.

To verify that the public replication is complete, look at node “Public Folder Instances.” After all of the public folders replicas have been moved, the “Public Folder Instances” node should be empty.
To verify that all public folders have been moved to the destination server

1.

From the source server, open Exchange System Manager, expand first administrative group, expand Servers, expand ServerName, expand First Storage Group, and then expand Public Folder Store (ServerName).
2.

Click the Public Folder Instances node. After all of the public folder replicas have been moved, the “Public Folder Instances” node should be empty.

Depending upon the replication interval you have set and the amount of information that must be replicated, this process may take from several hours to days to complete.

Als ik nu outlook opstart zie ik geen openbare mappen meer.
Als ik kijk bij public folder instances node op mijn source server staan daar mijn public folders nog.
Als ik op mijn source server kijk naar replication status staat er in sync

De replication schedule staat op always on.

Ik weet nu even neit meer waar ik heb moet zoeken.

Het gaat BTW over totaal 4 public folders met zo'n 40MB aan data, dus niet schrikbarend veel.

net een new account + mailbox aangemaakt op de oude server.

Als ik als deze account inlog zie ik wel de mappen structuur van m'n public folders, maar geen inhoud.

Rara, waar is de inhoud van mijn public folders gebleven

laatste poging, anders staak ik de strijd, en dan ga ik na de migratie wel m'n gehele systemstate incl. mailstores restoren
