Booten vanaf USB stick geeft Vista reinstall optie.

Hallo! Ik probeer mijn bios te updaten maar het wil niet erg lukken.

Ik heb het IFLASH .zip bestandje van de intel site gedownload en volgens de onderstaande tutorial een bootable usb gemaakt:

Instruction to create a bootable USB-Stick

    * Download the 2 files and extract usbdos.zip incl. the folder usbdos to your hard disk.
    * Run the HP-Setup program and start the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool.
    * The tool shows your USB-Stick under Device.
    * Choose FAT-32 under File system and activate the check mark Create a DOS startup disk.
    * Insert the path to your usbdos folder under using DOS system files located at:.
    * Press the Start button and wait until the tool has formatted the USB-Stick and has copied the 3 system files.
    * Now you have got a bootable USB-Stick. At last copy your flash program and the Bios update onto the USB-Stick.

In de .zip van intel zitten de volgende files:
IFLASH2.EXE
SG0121.BIO
SG0121.ITK
wat volgens de Intel tutorial goed is.

Het probleem is dat wanneer ik van de USB stick af boot ik de optie krijg windows vista opnieuw te installeren.

Weet iemand wat ik fout heb gedaan?

Andere manieren van mijn bios Flashen werken niet:

Express BIOS Update Doesnt work.

Integrator Toolkit BIOS Files Doesn't work cause i have Vista 64

Dan staat er waarschijnlijk wat verkeerds op je USB stick. Als je boot met alleen de USBstick (geen andere apapraten aangesloten) wat doet het ding dan?

Sowieso krijgt dit een schopje naar OM. Het heeft weinig met PMG te maken.

Ai mijn Vista CD zat nog in de drive om daar de boot vanaf te krijgen
