Cisco 877w icm bbned ADSL download snelheid probleem

Ik heb een cisco c877w welke ik in gebruik heb met een Concepts ADSL aansluiting (bbned). Nu is het probleem dat mijn download snelheid bij lange na niet de snelheid haalt waarop de modem af-trained. Zoals onderstaand zichtbaar is traint de modem af op +/- 165000 Kpbs wat ruw weg over een zo moeten komen met 1.5 a 1.6 Mb download (en dan zit ik nog aan de conservatieve kant, maar goed overhead e.d). Dit haal ik absoluut niet ik kom niet boven de 1.2 Mb uit op piek momenten, getest via een speedtest.bbned.nl 100Mb binary download.

Uiteraard heb ik even gezocht op het internet m.b.t dit issue helaas kon ik hier weinig over vinden. Wat mij tot de conclusie brengt dat:
1 - Er iets niet klopt aan mijn configuratie waardoor mijn router / modem enorm veel overhead heeft.
2 - Mijn verbinding geknepen wordt, iets wat overigens ontkent wordt door de provider.
3 - Alles wat jullie kunnen bedenken.

Onderstaand wat informatie over mijn configuratie uiteraard is de privacy gevoelige info weg gehased

Ik hoop dat jullie enige idee hebben wat het eventueel kan zijn, indien er meer info nodig is dan hoor ik dat natuurlijk graag of als ik mij aan de bepaalde forum etiquette niet hou dan hoor ik dat ook graag.

Ik weet zo even niet wat de specs van die cisco 877 zijn maar het is ook al is het een cisco geen high end router. Veel features betekent niet veel snelheid.

Overhead is bij DSL trouwens best behoorlijk omdat ATM een 5 byte heeft heeft bij 58 bytes data dus best wel knap waardeloos.

Een 877 moet in ieder geval makkelijk 16Mbit kunnen routeren. Heb zelf een 857 en een 20Mbit DSL abbo, werkt zonder problemen (full speed).

En wat betreft de snelheid, sloop overal die bandwidth statements eens af of is er een specifieke reden dat je die erin hebt staan?

Volgens mij wordt er nergens in NL gebruikt gemaakt van dynamische profielen op de DSLAM's.
Dit zijn vaste profielen; waarom maak je gebruik van de atm dynamic bandwidth statement?

Ik zie dat je een van een deels routed bridge config gebruikt maakt(Ik neem aan de bridge irb voor BVI). ik zie echter geen default route. en ip cef is disabled ??

verder zou ik ook gebruik maken van ip route cache op je vlan 1; deze houdt een cache bij van je routerings tabel. In het kort lijkt het me om routering aan te zetten al een pluspunt.

Ik ben even aan de gang gegaan met jullie adviezen en verdomd dat jullie ook nog eens gelijk hebben, geweldig. Ik heb:
1 - de bandwidth statements verwijderd, deze had ik als zijnde experiment toegevoegd,
2 - atm dynamic verwijderd, zelfde reden als boven tzt toegevoegd,
3 - ip cef aangezet,
4 - de bridge configuratie volledig verwijderd, deze had ik in het verleden toegevoegd ook als zijnde experiment maar werd niet gebruikt.

Ik zie nu dat ik gewoon de 1.6Mb haal. De configuratie zie er nu als onderstaand uit. Heren hartstikke bedankt voor de hulp. Ik zit alleen nog een beetje met de routering mogelijkheden zoals door Kabouterplop01 voorgesteld, hebben deze nog nut gezien ik de gehele bridge configuratie er uit gehaald heb?

Je hebt nu een routed bridge config, ik zou een default route statement neerzetten, of naar je atm0.1 interface, of als je geen gekke dingen doet je next hop gebruiken. (te vinden met een traceroute)

Ik ben tzt ook van een bridged naar routed bridge overgegaan; reden was een enorme arp tabel (show arp)
en met die routering was dat weg
