Werkt WSUS wel/niet

Vandaag ben ik bezig geweest om WSUS te installeren en configureren bij een bedrijf. Nu lijkt alles redelijk goed te gaan, maar ik had toch nog een paar vraagjes, omdat ik er niet helemaal zeker van ben dat de clients synchroniseren met de WSUS server, en er daadwerkelijk de updates vanaf halen.

Ben op een client aan het testen geweest met een ClientDiag voor WSUS tool, dit is de output:

Weet iemand ook toevallig hoe ik alle werkstation aangepast krijg doormiddel van een policy (waar moet ik dat instellen), zodat de standaard updatelocatie de WSUS server is?

Dat lijkt me nou juist iets wat je van tevoren al instelt, immers daar heb je Group Policies voor.
Over wat voor clients en server-OS hebben we het?

Neem een kijkje in Thematopic: Security updates, ik heb in alt-92 in "Thematopic: Security updates" een voorbeeld gegeven hoe je zoiets kunt inregelen.
Testen/controleren of je clients ook daadwerkelijk rapporteren en/of downloads doen kun je met wuauclt doen op de commandline.

wuauclt /reportnow

zorgt ervoor dat ze daadwerkelijk op je WSUS console komen mits je je group config goed hebt staan.
Met gpresult kun je achterhalen of je GPO ook daadwerkelijk op je clients toegepast wordt (machine GPO).
