GLPI?
Laat je vooral niet misleiden door de taalfout in bovenstaande afbeelding: GLPI is werkelijk een goed programma. GLPI staat voor Gestionnaire Libre de Parc Informatique. Voor de Frans-onkundigen: Vrije Informaticapark Manager. De Creative Commons licentie staat vrije verspreiding en wijziging toe en verbiedt enkel gebruik voor commerciële doeleinden. De website van GLPI is http://www.glpi-project.org/.En wat kan GLPI voor me doen?
Gezien het aantal mogelijkheden ga ik voor de luie oplossing, nl. een copy/paste van GLPI zelf:General

Vereisten
Qua hardware bijna niets natuurlijk. De source zelf is nog geen megabyte groot overigens. Virtualisatie is geen enkel probleem.Ervaringen en referenties
De volledige lijst referenties is te vinden op http://www.glpi-project.org/?page=refer&lang=en. Het zijn voornamelijk - maar niet uitsluitend - Franse en Belgische overheidsdiensten en onderwijsinstellingen.Ikzelf werk als support technician bij een niet nader genoemde overheidsinstelling (lees: ministerie, of FOD zoals dat hier heet - Federale OverheidsDienst) en gebruik GLPI sinds twee maand in de eerste plaats als ticketingsysteem. Onze plannen zijn om al onze huidige custom-made ticketingsystemen (we hebben er verschillende naargelang het domein) op termijn te vervangen door GLPI. Ook het inventarissysteem zullen we in de toekomst in GLPI doen, maar eigenlijk zitten we momenteel nog in een testfase. Nogal logisch: we spreken over een park van 25 000 computers in een op zijn zachtst gezegd essentiële overheidsdienst. Wij gebruiken de interface in het Nederlands, Frans, Duits en Engels; naar gelang de voorkeur van de technicus. Echte bugs zijn we nog niet tegengekomen, behalve een optie die ontbreekt in het Nederlands (geen onderscheid tussen Closed/Solved en Closed/Not Solved).
Enfin, als je een gratis alternatief zoekt voor dit soort managementprogramma denk ik niet dat ze beter te vinden zijn dan GLPI.

Dit is een compleet helpdesk/inventory script erg mooi
Deze haalt automatisch alle specs van de computers uit de osc database.
Standaard word hij ook mee geleverd met nederlandse taal module.
