[AD] Employee ID zichtbaar in ADUC

Beste, ik wil graag het "verborgen" AD attribuut EmployeeID zichtbaar maken in ADUC. Na wat googlen vind ik daar zat handleidingen voor die allemaal hetzelfde aangeven. Echter als ik de stappen uitvoer is er geen resultaat. Ik heb het zowel in onze live omgeving als een test AD omgeving getest zonder resultaat. Ik weet dat ik een paar minuten moet wachten maar ik zit nu al meer dan een uur te wachten, zonder resultaat. Is er een manier om deze replicatie te forceren? Of zie ik iets anders over het hoofd.

Ik heb deze handleiding gevolgd(hier gevonden: http://www.experts-exchan..._Server/Q_22537274.html):
You can however, add a column to AD users and Computers to the list of users.
1. Load ADSIedit
2. Connect to your Configuration Container
3. Select CN=DisplaySpecifiers
4. Select CN=409 <- for english
5. Select the CN=default-Display and right click and select properties.
6. Find the extraColumns attribute
7. Add the following line: employeeID,Employee ID,0,-1,0
8. Click OK, then OK.

Wait a minute or so for replication.
Re-open your AD Users and computer MMC
Select your OU containing users
Select View, Add/Remove Columns
You should be allowed to add Employee ID
The Employee ID should now show up as a column in the user list.

ook na een herstart(van mijn testomgeving), is kan ik de "Employee ID" kolom niet toevoegen!

Anyway, when I put the employeeID,Employee ID,0,-1,0 into the CN=organizationalUnit-Display, I see the column in add/remove columns, but no other columns show up as you said. However, when I put it into CN=Default-Display it doesn't show up in add/remove columns at all.

mmm... indeed! Do I need to take all the entries out of the extraColumns of Default-Display and put them into orgUnit-Display?? I really don't want to mess around with AD that much.

Is there a reason it won't work in Default-Display?

No don't do that, you have to duplicate what is in extraColumns in Default-Display to the extraColumns in organizationalUnit-Display and then add the one extra employeeID field.

I was just going through my notes on this change in our environment (as I did this about 4 years ago) and I have a comment that I had to add all the attributes from default-display since it's like an OR function and not and AND. I presumed I opted not to change the Default-Display as I only wanted this field available when displaying on OU, but I probably ran into this same situation and just cloned the default to the ou.
