Verschil tussen Distribution layer & Aggregation layer

Ik heb een vraag.

Ik ben aan het zoeken geweest maar ik kan er geen duidelijkheid over vinden.
Ik heb het zelfs aan IT leraren gevraagd maar ook die kunnen me geen duidelijkheid geven.

Wat is nu precies het verschil tussen een Distribution layer en een Aggregation layer.

Hopelijk kunnen jullie mij bij deze vraag helpen?

The aggregation layer, which is commonly the boundary between Layers 2 and 3 in the data center and therefore touches on product features at both the network and data-link layers of the OSI model. Included are examples of integration of data center services such as firewall and server load balancing, both with directly attached appliances and using external Services Chassis.

Distribution is gericht op switching.

Ja heb zeker al gegoogeld. Probleem is dat ik nooit vind wat ik moet hebben.. Als een ander googled dan hebben zij het altijd sneller dan ik...:-( :-)

Dus het verschil tussen aggr & distrb. is dat je in aggr switch firewalls, ace, ANS devices zitten. en dat de distrb. switch alleen switching doet en QoS.
