Vista update lukt niet, wel internet

Hallo,

Ik heb een nieuwe pc gekocht met Vista 32 bits erop.
Draadloos netwerk doet het goed want ik kan gewoon sites googlen.
Maar McAffee wil niet updaten en ook windows update doet niet updaten.
Teven werkt de sidebar niet met de gadgets die ik heb toegevoegd waar hij internet connectie voor nodig heeft.

Beetje wazig probleem maar misschien heeft iemand dit ook gehad?

Wie weet wat ik hieraan kan doen?

voor de window update was dit de oplossing voor mijn probleem
1. start uitvoeren en dan services.msc
2. klik OK
3. zoek automatic update services
4. stop deze
5. start uitvoeren en dan %systemroot%
6. klik OK
7. zoek de SoftwareDistribution map en hernoem deze naar .old (SoftwareDistribution.old)
8. maak een nieuwe map aan genaamd SoftwareDistribution
9. start uitvoeren en dan services.msc
10. klik OK
11. zoek automatic update services
12 start deze

Als bovenstaande niet werkt is er nog een tweede oplossing:

1. voer een cmd als administrator uit.
2. type het volgende commando: fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\
(er van uitgaande dat je een c:\ hebt)
3. herstart de machine.

Alles uitgevoerd maar helaas.

Wat ik intussen ook gedaan heb is de volgende sites toegevoegd aan de vetrouwde sites:

http://.update.microsoft,com
https://.update.microsoft,com
http://download.windowsupdate.com

Ook dat hielp niet.

Toen de firewall uitgezet en gereboot.
Dat hielp ook niet.

De foutcode die ik krijg is: 80072EE2

I have worked on this problem for at least 20 hours on and off over the last
several weeks.
I have a pc which uses ICS to connect all the clients in my home network to
the internet. WU would not work on either client. Kept getting 80072ee2
failure when searching for updates. Tried every solution I could find on the
internet.

Finally I added up all the symptoms, one of which that I could not load
other https pages, could not even reach the windows update site without using
the proxy. Well, I decided the problem could be the ethernet connection from
the ICS Host to the home network.

Removed the ethernet device from within device manager, rebooted and let XP
home reinstall the device. After that, the clients could run Windows Update.

sheesh, what a hassle figuring this out was.

Anyhow, if anyone gets the 8072ee2 error and you've tried the other
solutions, try what I did. I'm thinking that there was a problem with dropped
packets or tcp/ip communication.

Heb je toevallig ook de dit knowledge base artikeluitgevoerd?
Daarin staan ook een aantal oplossing voor het probleem. De 0x80072EE2 wil namelijk niks anders zeggen dat er een internet time out is opgetreden.
Je zou de stappen die in het artikel staan eens uit kunnen proberen.

Alles uitgevoerd maar ook dat helpt niet.

Rare is dat zowel de updates niet gedownload kunnen worden van Microsoft als ook van Mcafee.
Mcafee uischakelen had ook geen zin.
