Hoi,
Volgens een check draait mijn pavilion op 2.0 i.p.v. 2.5Ghz. Volgens mij komt dat door het DDram wat er in geplaatst is. Kan iemand dat bevestigen en misschien vertellen of ik nog wat in de bios kan veranderen om toch de reële proccesorsnelheid op 2.,5 te krijgen, of dat ik er sneller ram in moet plaatsen en zo ja welke?

Staat EIST ingeschakeld? Kijk ook even in de bios of de multiplier juist staat.

Goedemorgen!

Dat is een "feature"", waarneer je geen cpu intensive dingen onderneemt word de clocksnelheid naar beneden gebracht ( iig het geval bij mijn E8400 Dual Core ).

Dit heet in het bios ( wss bij advanced bios settings oid )

"CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)..............."" en
"CPU EIST Function........................."

Je hebt niet aangegeven of de clocksnelheid onder load was, dus dit lijkt mij het meest waarschijnlijke.

Een stroombezuinings programma dus. :)

Dank mijne heren..:-)

Processor draait onder load dus wel op 2.5. Het is dus inderdaad het stroombezuinigins programma. Had nog niet gehoord van die feature.
